I finally took down all the linocut prints from my last printing day! 🖤

I had two huge printing days last month in preparation for the upcoming @townergallery print fair, also since my work is now with @southbank_printmakers, to restock @greenwichprintmakers, and because I have also opened a wholesale shop on Faire for retailers! 🌿

I am so grateful for my printing press in times like these, always reliable and allows me to print hundreds of prints in a few days! 🙌🏻

I always love putting all the prints up, they brighten my studio, and then I cannot wait for a fresh start again, haha! 🌷

I love the printmaking process from carving to inking and printing, to the last step which feels like a perfect farewell!

What are your favourite rituals?

These two wood engraving beauties, "Demon Friends" and "In The Shadows" are currently in "The Great Outdoors" exhibition at @greenwichprintmakers! 🌿

These prints felt like they perhaps are in a corner of an enchanted forest so they were my most appropriate! 🖤

Based on references from life as usual from @draw_brighton, I surrounded their magical characters with extra silly demons and flowers! 🌷

They were a five layer multiblock wood engraving with lino, an experience I still dread and am still trying to figure out how to keep making! 😅

Here is my part two of my block printing on suede experiment with woodcut blocks! Which I'm pretty sure now would also work with lino! 👀

If you saw part one you saw my first test, and the rest of the day I just kept pulling small compositions of prints from the block with suede cutouts! 🌷

I had so much printing these, and also cropping the compositions in this way! 🖤

I also loved the blurred lines and ink that would seep into the suede, it gave the prints such an atmosphere! 🙌🏻

Please give me more ideas of what printing on suede could turn into! 🥲
